The first edition. One word, four men, and a magazine that believes South Africa is worth fighting for. Inside: the story behind Moeggesukkel, why identity does not come from a feed, the AI hype that turns out to be as old as the computer itself, the mystery of the missing planes, and what the Small 5 actually are.

From this edition
A note on, our editors letter beginnings. Every magazine starts somewhere. A conversation. A frustration. A question that would not go away. Ours started with a simple one: why is there no magazine for the whole South African family? Not for women. Not for kids. Not for sport, or politics, or celebrity gossip. Just for curious people who love this country and want to understand it better. People who still find the world interesting. People who want something worth reading on a Sunday afternoon with their children beside them. We looked. We could not find it. So we built it.
There is a great deal more where that came from
41 pages of science, nature, history, travel, food and puzzles, written for curious minds aged 8 to 80.
